Upcycle Fun Pack

Cost of living crisis biting hard? Reuse, recycle, upcycle instead of throwing your old textiles away. Create beautiful things out of not so beautiful things.

The 'Upcycle Fun Pack' is designed to get you started by providing an economical selection of botanical dyes and mordants (natural mineral salts that act as dye fixing agents.) It comes with an A5 20 page booklet with starter recipes included. The recipes are aimed at beginners. The fun pack ingredients will change with the seasons. The current inclusions are:

• Madder root powder 50g
• Curious pink logwood 30g aka Sappanwood 
• Dried coreopsis flowers
• Alum 70g
• Iron sulphate 7g
• Guar gum 5g
• Washing soda 50g
• Recipe booklet
  

You will need a cooking pot dedicated to botanical projects (not used for food).

There are seven projects in the booklet. Three of the projects would be easier to execute if you also purchase the Original Eco-printing Kit. The flexible rolling tube, steaming rack, steaming bag, bandage and barrier would be handy additions.
